Much love for Primarni

Hola chicas! Today I went to town with my bestest buddy and we went to Primark {AKA The Mother Ship} There are so many lovely things in there at the moment and I wanted to buy it all. I had to limit myself as I didn't want to go too overboard.
                                                                                   ~

I know this sounds really bad but I only bought two things! One of which was for school. {We have to decorate a shoe for art and I bought a cheap one from Primark - me and my friend shared a pair}
                                                                                   ~

So I thought that I would tell you about the stuff that caught my eye in Primark as I don't have much to write about on the shopping front. So chicas, enjoy!
                                                                                   ~

  1. Sports wear - At the moment Primark has the most amazing sports wear. I was going to buy some but there was a really big cue for the changing rooms so... But they had yoga mats, weights, cool leggings with a cute pattern down the side, waterproof running jackets and trainers etc.
  2. Emoji - Primark is selling tops that have emoji's on them. I have actually got one from a previous visit to Primark. There are all sorts, like the girl with the sassy hand, the three monkeys {I have that one}, a collection of random emoji's and they even have emoji jumpers.
  3. Harry Potter - Like the emoji's there is loads of different Harry Potter t-shirts. They even have leggings with Gryffindor printed up the side of them. They also have Hogwarts crest printed on lots of t-shirts.
  4. Ponchos - This was another one of the items I bought. I have never bought a poncho before and I didn't think I could pull them off. But I was surprised that it actually looked okay! I would team a poncho up with leggings/tights, a pencil skirt and a plain t-shirt. Add boots to make it look more tom boy or heels.
  5. Sandals - If you are a fan of the Tumblr grunge look you will love Primark's sandals. They are black and have a big wedge with a zig-zag texture on the bottom. {Wow my describing skills are amazing, but hopefully you get what I mean}                                                                              ~
That's all I can remember but seriously get yourself down to Primark! Even if you don't live near a Primark these styles are hot so you can look for that sort of style. That's all for now chicas! Adios.

Mirror Mirror

Hola chicas, as you know I like to blog whilst listening to music and today is no different, I am listening to wicked Games {Radio edit} by Parra for Cuva. It is an amazing song, go and listen!
                                                                                  ~

 So today I thought I would do a DIY post. So I recently saw that my friend had the cutest chalkboard in her room. I asked her where she bought it as it was the perfect size and had the cutest frame.
                                                                                  ~

She just laughed and sad she had made it herself. Now if you're like me you are pretty money conscious. So I thought it would be really pricey to make my own chalk board as you have to buy the sate etc.
                                                                                  ~

But apparently it really isn't that pricey. All you need is some chalk board paint {On amazon it is around £2.50 or less!} and an old mirror {you can get these from charity shops and the like}. You will also need some masking tape and a paintbrush but these will probably be knocking around the house.
                                                                                  ~

So I thought I would do a step by step guide on how to make your own chalkboard {I haven't made my own but I will try to do the best instructions I can!} So here we go chicas!
                                                                                  ~

  1. First take the masking tape and tape around the inner edge of the frame. This is hard to explain but you are basically doing this so that you don't get any black paint on the frame, so it looks prettier.
  2. Then open the paint and use the black paint to cover the whole of the mirrored surface. Tip: Use downwards strokes so that the paint job looks neat and don't use too much paint otherwise the surface will go lumpy.
  3. Leave the paint to dry, and don't peel off the masking tape yet!
  4. Then when the paint has dried it should be ready for the tape to be pulled off. If their are a few blank spaces carefully fill them in with the extra paint.
  5. And there you go, your very own chalkboard. Buy some cute chalk and get writing!

Q & A

Hola chicas! - This is so cute, this should be my catchphrase. Promise I'm not copying Sprinkleofglitter, but I heart her very much. So I'm trying to have loads of posts as I deleted my last ones.
                                                                               ~

I'm typing in time with Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson, and I feel so cool right now. Anyways back to the blog post...
                                                                               ~

Today I thought as a follow up to the quote post I would do some questions and answers. I'm doing this totally random and there isn't a particular category of questions so it's just a 10 random questions tag! - wooh. If you want me to do any specific question tags, e.g.. Clothes question tag, just ask in the comments below. Here we go:
                                                                               ~

  • What is your favourite colour? - Probably sugar pink but I like any pastel colours. I also like white on dresses. {Inspired by Lana Del Rey's summertime sadness video}

  • If you could live in any decade which would you live in? - I would like to live in the 1950s or 1960s  America because the fashion and music was amazing and their were many influential people.

  • Do you have any pets? - Yes, I have a comet {It's like a goldfish} called Shadow because he is grey and black, and I have a Syrian hamster called Bilbo Baggins. He is grey and white.

  • Name 3 things that are next to you right now? - My art book, my phone and headphones. I have loads of other stuff but I chose my main {In a beauty guru voice}go-to items.

  • What is your favourite item of clothing? - I am loving my denim jacket at the moment, and I also like my acid wash jeans but I'm not cool enough to pull off the double denim look.{Items courtesy of Primark - AKA the mother ship.}

  • When did you last listen to music? - Just now actually, and it is Once upon a dream for the Maleficent movie by Lana Del Rey. Yeah, I'm kind of obsessed.

  • What is your favourite book? - This is impossible to answer as I read so many, but if I could choose between two it would probably be The perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and The curious incident of the dog in the night-time by Simon Stephens. {TPOBAW is also a film which is directed by the author Stephen Chbosky and I might be going to see TCIOTDITNT on stage. Sorry for the abbreviations I'm too lazy to type it all out}

  • What is your favourite TV series? (American) - I am really getting into the Vampire Diaries. It is amazing and I love it. Netflix only has 5 seasons though but the 6th season will hopefully be out soon. If you like the Vampire Diaries who is your favourite character? No hate in the comments please! I kind of like Klaus but I have always loved Damon.

  • What is your favourite pizza topping? - I like Pepperoni or seafood. But to be honest if you offered me any type of Pizza I would eat it so...

  • What is your favourite TV series? (English) - Silent witness. I love that show so much and the background story to each case is really interesting. I also used to like Chasing shadows, but that hasn't been aired for ages! Why?

"Quotations"

Hi chicas, I might start calling you this as I think it sounds cute and I like Spanish. If you are a boy reading this blog post please don't get offended that I refer to you as a chica - it is just a really cute word I like to use.
                                                                           ~

Anyways, today I thought I would do my first proper blog post. This should give you an idea of what my page is going to be about and hopefully give you and idea of things to come.
                                                                           ~

So todays post is an inspiring quote that I love and something that I think you would like too. So, here we go chicas: (I hope you don't mind me calling you chicas but it sounds adorable)
                                                                           ~

I love this quote as to me it sums up that even though the route you have chosen in your life is ok, why just settle for ok? It implies that their is a greater destiny in everyone's life and that we all need to find our courage and take a risk by stepping off our chosen path and finding the "flowered path" which I guess leads to success. - I wish my English teacher could see me now.
~

Besides, I really like Vincent Van Gogh so that's a plus. I hope you enjoyed this quote, and if you know any other quotes please comment below.

Music

So I have recently got a new laptop for my birthday, and it came with Spotify. This may sound weird, but before now I have never had Spotify. I go to it whenever I feel sad and I need my Lana Del Rey fix or if I need to concentrate on revision, as they have "concentration music". I'm sorry, but if that isn't cool I don't know what is.
                                                                             ~

I have found so many of my favourite artists and their music is so easy to find. So I thought in todays post I would make a list of all my favourite artists and why I like them.

                                                                             ~

  • Lana Del Rey - I heart her style as I loved the 1950/60s too. I also love how she is so sweet and innocent in interviews and then can sing so low but so well.

  • George Ezra - My friend got me really into him and I like the style of music he sings. I class it as folk/indie, but I'm probably wrong. I also think he is pretty good looking so...

  • Ben Howard - I actually introduced him to my friend. He has a beautiful voice and he is so relaxing to listen to. I like the fact that he surfs and he also sings folk/indie music.

  • The Smiths - They are a hella cool band and they are so haunting,in a good way. I like the fact that they are seen as old and not "hip" but the fact that my Dad likes them is a bit... Oh well.

  • The Vamps - Although they are not like the other artists and groups I have talked about they are really good singers and the fact that they are good looking boys who play guitars just makes it even better. {James McVey is my favourite}
                                                                                    ~

There is probably loads of other bands and artists that I can't think of right now, so this isn't really a very good representation of the music I like but it was fun trying.

                                                                                 ***

(Insert wave hand emoji)

I'm typing this sitting at my desk listening to none stop Lana Del Rey on Spotify. Not a bad way to spend a Thursday evening, but, moving on.
                                                                               ~

As you can see, I am starting again with Pink Cloud. I decided that I need a fresh start as I have hardly posted and I have been so busy lately. Another reason for starting again is the fact that my blogger friend and I have decided to go our separate ways on the blogging front, so I am taking over the blog.
                                                                               ~

But what I will be doing is the same sort of things I used to do so don't worry that my theme is going to drastically change. I hope to get more followers this time and I will try and follow you back so please leave a comment about what you like about Pink Cloud and just ask for me to look at your blogs too.
                                                                              ~

I am really excited to be typing again and I hope that Pink Cloud is as good as it used to be, for me to write and for you to read.
